Library Resources

You must have at least four (4) sources minimum which will be documented in MLA format using NoodleToolThese sources must include: 

(1) One source will be your Texas History text book, Lone Star Nation. You will find a second book using the FWCD Online Catalog.

(2) An article from at least one (1) database accessed from the Library Resources Webpage at http://library.fwcd.org. All passwords are available via a link on this page as well.

1. ABC-CLIO's History Databases, specifically the American History database(Ebsco).
2. EBSCO's Student Research Center
3. The Gale Virtual Reference Library's biography and history e-books .
4. Gale's Student Resource Center - Junior.

 

(3) You must have a book as one of your sources.

(4) Your fourth source will be a source of your choice, excluding websites. 

Login and password information is also available for parents in the Resources section of your FWCD portal account.

NoodleTools uses Single Sign-On with your FWCD Google account, so you don't need a separate login and password. 
 

1) Log in to your FWCD email account.

2) Click on the "waffle" (grid) at the top right corner, and keep scrolling until you find the NoodleTools app.

3) Choose your FWCD email account to login.

Don't see the book you're looking for? Ask the librarians if the library can purchase it for the collection.
