Your assignment is to teach your class, through a 3-5 minute oral presentation, about a topic relating to the Holocaust.
To gather information for your presentation, we will explore our databases, and you need to use at least TWO different databases. PARAPHRASE your sources. Do not copy directly from sources.
You may use notes to present your topic. In addition to explaining your topic, your presentation must include:
a visual (photograph, chart, image of primary document, etc.): Free Usage (Google, Tools, Usage Rights, Creative Commons licenses). All videos, images, and information must be cited at the end of the presentation.
a way to actively involve the class (practice quiz, worksheet, etc.) – keep it short (no more than 2-4 minutes). Be original – Kahoot! gets very old very quickly and takes more time than you might believe (hint, hint – can you be more original than this?).
citations that include the name of the database, article title, author (if applicable), publish or copyright date, and article URL.
Format your citations as follows: Last, First. “Article Title.” Database Name. Year or date. URL.
Citations are listed alphabetically by the first word of the citation.
If there is not author, begin the citation with the article title, formatted with quotation marks.
